Professor Bernard H. Oxman is the Richard A. Hausler Professor of Law at the University of Miami. Before joining the Law School in 1977, he was Assistant Legal Adviser for Oceans, Environment, and Scientific Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. He also served as United States Representative to the Third United Nations Conference on the Law of the Sea and chaired the English Language Group of the Conference Drafting Committee.
