The US-led Arctic Council is still trying to get Americans to care about the Arctic

One year into its two-year term as chair of the Arctic council, the U.S. is still struggling to achieve its goals of promoting Arctic ocean safety, security and stewardship, improving economic and living conditions in the Arctic and addressing the impacts of climate change.
